Join us on September 6th for the release of our Pumpkin 3.14(pie) beer & more!! In addition to pumpkin carving, we’ll be having pumpkin bowling & pumpkin chucking outside. A section of the parking lot will be fenced off and licensed so come-on down, have a beer and throw some pumpkins around! Prizes to be won!

Pumpkin Carving
Come down to Taps On Queen, Brewhouse & Grill between 2pm & 6pm for pumpkin carving! Bring the kids, or those young at heart! No pumpkin? No Problem! We’ll have pumpkins available for carving, carving station and fun for the kids!

Pumpkin Bowling
6pm – 8pm try your hand at Pumpkin Bowling! Using mini-pumpkins we’ll be bowling outside, objective of the game is to knock down the water bottles by rolling (throwing) a pumpkin!

Pumpkin Chuck
9pm – 11pm is the closest to the keg pumpkin chucking competition! Using medium sized pumpkins the objective is to throw the pumpkin and try to land it closest to one of the kegs. Kegs will be placed at further distances so everyone can join in the fun!!

Come join us every Wednesday to enjoy 22cent chicken wings (eat in only) and the musical style’s of Rod Standish. Having just completed his ‘walk across Canada’ from Halifax NS to Victoria BC experience the music that tells one mans incredible journey!

Rod Standish has made a habit of defying musical boundaries, both with the experimentally zany and heavy Rudy Quazar, and with the down-to-earth sound of the alternative country act Roger Marin. With the launch of his own solo C.D, Rod has taken lessons that he has learned from these two bands, and mixes them with a diverse and eclectic, maybe even eccentric, blend of musical styles.

As a seasoned guitarist, a proficient bass player, a competent drummer, a powerful vocalist, a creative baritone player, and a musician who has dabbled with keyboards, the trumpet, the trombone and the mandolin, Rod is a multi-instrumentalist. Striving for versatility, Rod plays a variety of styles, including rock, blues, heavy metal, classical, jazz, ragtime, country, bluegrass, folk, funk, punk, rockabilly, avant guarde, alternative, and progressive.

As an experienced private music instructor, Rod enjoys the experience of connecting with students, as well as finding ways to get them excited and involved in not only the mechanics of music, but the philosophy and business of music as well. He is a prolific writer, composer, and arranger of original music.
